You are bidding on an enjoyed only a few times condition hand crafted large straight "Taper Billiard" shaped pipe, stamped as pipe 1801, that was hand crafted by the very talented American pipe maker, Mr. Rich Lewis on May 15th, 2009. The high contrast stained straight grain that surrounds the bowl of this "ORIGINAL" graded exquisitely shaped briar is simply awesome! In addition to its good looks, this pipe offers perfect engineering. The balance is very nice. The hand feel is nice and comfortable. The draft is effortless. A pipe cleaner will pass to the bottom of the bowl. This is one solid pipe - both in looks and engineering layout.

Here are the dimensions of this fabulous pipe: The length is about 6.375". The bowl height is about 2.25". The tobacco chamber is about 0.75" in diameter and tapers down the bowl's 2.0" inner depth. The capacity is about that of a Group ODA size Dunhill pipe. This gorgeous high grade pipe weighs 50 grams. The pipe bag that is pictured below is included.

I lightly but carefully cleaned, sanitized, rejuvenated, and polished this beautiful pipe both inside and out. This took no time at all, since this pipe was enjoyed only once. The bowl coating is the original that Rich had applied to the pipe when he made it. The original hand cut black acrylic stem is free from any tooth marks or scratches.  It is ready to deliver immediate enjoyment right out of the box.

Once again, this is a seven day no reserve pipe auction. I do not believe in "Reserve" or "Buy it Now" prices. I want the lucky high bidder to own and enjoy this pipe and not have him frustrate himself with bidding on a pipe that is not attainable on a price basis! I use only the best of packaging materials. The pipes that I ship have too much time and labor lavished on their restoration and presentations as well as the many of these pipes are irreplaceable works of art. I am not going to risk damage by using lesser packing. (In my nine years of selling pipes on eBay and shipping thousands of pipes around the world, not a single pipe has been damaged!) I also try my utmost to ship your pipe the same day that I receive your payment, even if this means making a special trip to the Post Office just for you alone. The Registered parcels that ship overseas take extensive time with both the packaging and four forms of documentation that must be filled out. Unfortunately, this all has to be reflected in my shipping costs, so please bid accordingly.
