Here is a brand new Association "close contact" custom, hand
made, hand carved Rico Roping Saddle. For those of
you who dont know the Rico name.... he used to be
son-in-law of the famous saddlemaker Billy Cook.
He learned to make saddles years ago with him. As
you can see from the pics he does a very good job, this is a saddle that
retails well over $3800. This saddle is
made with all Herman Oak leather which is the best you can get. The tooling is
very detailed and very deep carved. This saddle is
an absolute beauty. It is brand New in excellent condition. This is
an authentic, real Rico saddle made out of GREENVILLE, TEXAS one of the newest finest Saddles out by Rico. Rico Only uses the best materials when building a Saddle, wool lining and Herman Oaks Leather. It will be shipped all complete with a tooled
matching roping back flank, and the latigo tie
straps and latigo off billets. You will also
recieve with your saddle, a navajo fleece pad.(not
pictured, to help cushion in the shipping) To tell
you a bit more about this saddle:
TREE: Wood, rawhide covered roper. Full quarter
horse bars. The gullet measures 6 7/8". 10 year
warranty.
SEAT: 16" Comfortable Shaped Perfect Hard Seat.
HORN: 3 1/2" Post roper. Rawhide bound with fancy
silver horn cap.
SWELL: Wide 14.5" all hand tooled throughout.
CANTLE: 5" High Back.
STIRRUPS: 3" OVER SHOE SIZED!!!! Roper Flat bottom dark rawhide, all
hand leather laced.
RIGGING: Full double with very nice, yet heavy
duty stainless dee's. Breastcollar dee's are
rigged into tree.
PATTERN: Basket Weave tooling.
FINISH: Light oil. Polished and finished with
hand dyed edges.
This saddle also has very fancy designed Montana
Silversmith's conchos throughout the skirt. This
saddle comes with blevins quick change stirrup
buckles. It also comes with a 27 strand roping
