Rocket Larkspur [ Delphinium Ajacis ] is a delightful and easy to grow garden favorite. It is a winter annual, native to southern Europe and the plant has naturalized throughout the United States. Larkspurs are distinguished by a backward projecting spur, formed by the upper petal of the flower. Tightly compact blossoms are arranged on spikes in shades of pink, white, and deep blue. Rocket Larkspur produces attractive flowers on long spike-like racemes, therefore it is not surprising that this species is grown in flower gardens, from which it occasionally escapes.
Rocket Larkspur [ Delphinium Ajacis ] prefers full sun to partial shade in very well-drained soils. This plant develops quickly, shooting up like a rocket, hence the common name. It is a marvelous plant to accent any cut flower arrangement. The plant is likely to rot at the base in soils that retain excessive moisture, and it can re-grow following spring if seed falls on bare ground. Annual larkspurs are best suited for flower beds and borders where they may self sow year after year.
CAUTION: The seeds and leaves of the Rocket Larkspur are poisonous if consumed.

OVM Company (the seller) warrants seed to be of the variety and quantity advertised. For domestic U.S. shipments, safe delivery is guaranteed and if the shipment is insured, the seeds lost or damaged during shipment will be replaced at seller's expense. Claims must be made within 15 days of shipment. All other replacements, refunds, returns and exchanges will be made at the sole discretion of the seller.
Seed is a live product which depends on many important related grower skills such as proper planting time, seed depth, type of soil, irrigation, proper use of fertilizers, weed controls, fungicides, insecticides, disease free soil, and reasonable weather conditions during the growing period. Germination is affected by such factors as temperature, moisture content, light intensity and contamination of planting media. These factors are totally out of the seller's control and are the buyer's responsibility and risk. Consequently, the seller cannot unconditionally guarantee seed to perform properly regardless of conditions or the buyer's methods or mistakes.
This is the sole warranty; we make no other, express or implied. We cannot guarantee establishment of seed due to various factors over which we have no control. Liability, whether contractual, for negligence or otherwise, is limited in all respects to the amount of the purchase price of the seeds, regardless of the nature, cause or extent of the loss. It is expressly agreed that this limited remedy is exclusive and that we shall not be liable for any damages over and above the purchase price of this product.
