ROLEX COSMOGRAPH DAYTONA 16528 18K CHRONOGRAPH
All of a sudden the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona reference 16528 with the black dial is a hot and collectable watch. It's funny how this works, because these watches have always been GREAT looking - in fact, this model with the black dial is my favorite of all chronographs. One look at this watch "in the metal" and you are an instant believer.
Case is solid 18k yellow gold with sapphire crystal, screw down crown and chronograph pushers, and bezel with engraved "Units per Hour" scale. Rolex Oyster bracelet is full length, with 13 solid 18k gold links, and will comfortably fit up to an 8.5 inch wrist. Old style clasp with the Rolex coronet.
Dial is black with applied hour markers. Chronograph totalizer subdials for 30 minutes and 12 hours. The word "Daytona" in printed in red and arches over the lower subdial.
This chronograph carries the Zenith El Primero automatic winding column wheel chronograph beating at 36,600 beats per hour.
Condition is mint plus with box and punch papers.
