ROLEX SUBMARINER AUTOMATIC WATCH MODEL 1680

This is a BEAUTIFUL and VERY RARE VINTAGE ROLEX TUDOR SUBMARINER model 1680. It is in OUTSTANDING condition throughout, and all original (except the strap and hands). It has a 571xxxx serial number which indicates it was manufactured in 1977-78 per the Rolex guides.  This was never sold in the USA. VERY hard to find, especially with the very desirable black dial and AWESOME faded bezel. It is and authentic as described below.   

CASE: Stainless steel 40mm wide (not including lugs), with screw out stainless steel crown. This has a date at 3 o'clock with cyclops, and is water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet.

BEZEL: GORGEOUS faded black rotational bezel that now has a BEAUTIFUL patina.

DIAL: Original Black dial with luminous hour markers. Replacement (ROLEX) BENZ hands, also with luminous. The dial looks fantastic throughout.

STRAP: 20mm DARK BROWN CORDOVAN LEATHER with stainless steel buckle. Full-sized, should fit anyone.  

MOVEMENT: 26 jewel Rolex Self-winding automatic movement, calibre 1570.

CRYSTAL: ORIGINAL Plastic crystal that looks great. It is the original crystal and VERY LITTLE wear. Looks great 

All parts shown are original and came with this watch outside of the strap and hands as noted. This is in OUTSTANDING condition and is a classy, timeless look that is unmatched. This watch is VERY nice, and did not come with a box or paperwork. This is a VERY RARE, HARD to FIND watch in the USA that is TRULY GORGEOUS.
