THE DELINEATOR, February, 1919, large color sheet "The Delineator Children's Theater" A Valentine Romance, Scenery by McQuinn; background with stage framing scene of old cottage by river with round bridge, lacey valentine curtain, 2 side wings of trees with fence and well, plus theater figures: 2 standing bouquets of roses with love mottoes, tin soldier, Heroine in hoop skirt and pantalettes, the hero in Beau Brummel style. All uncut and mint. Back is special war painting "America's Response" by F. Luis Mora showing soldiers advancing past poppies and crosses with guiding freedom spirit above in flaming colors. This is only the 1 sheet and both directions and play text were not saved. (Careless and ignorant dealers ripped out pages they thought would bring a fast profit and often the rest was lost but a collector had to buy whatever could be found and this is LOVELY.)
