We offer for sale to Roseville Pottery lovers a wonderful old Roseville Pottery 8 1/4" Brown PINECONE #844-8 Twig Handled Vase, Circa 1935.

The vase base is marked with "Roseville U. S. A. #844-8" in raised letters PLUS on the side of the vase has the original Roseville foil label. Naturalistic matte colours on this arts and crafts designed piece with a wonderful branch handle on top side of the vase. This old Roseville art pottery handled   vase is in wonderful condition with outstanding colours in the decoration and with a high degree of SHARP mold detail. The brown and yellow toned colors are vibrant with the excellent hand painting. The glaze is a matte finish that is typical of this Roseville designed handled  vase made in Zanesville, Ohio back in the 1935. The handled  vase stands 8 1/4" tall and 8" wide at the largest point which is the twig handles. The Roseville Pinecone handled  vase 844-8 mold is shown in Bomm's book in "Roseville in all its Splendor" on page 257, top picture, 2nd row and on the right-hand side. The handled  vase has NO hairlines, NO cracks, NO fleabites, No chips and in wonderful condition. Please see the above PICs to view this handled  vase plus the base.
