From Royal Doulton's Valentine's Day series of plates this is the plate introduced for 1978. Plate features boy and girl. She is sitting in a garden reading a love letter and he is behide a tree. A statue of cupid is on the garden wall. Marked Valentine's Day 1978 on front with a Valentine verse on back. Plate is 8 1/4" and in mint condition - no box or coa.
