RYL: Path of the Emperor is a massively multiplayer roleplaying game that aims to create increasingly difficult and challenging gameplay as players progress deeper into the quest. In the game, players assume the role of a Warrior, Cleric, Wizard, or Thief (over 20 classes) and explore the many beautiful and exotic locations within the game where they meet other players, complete quests, fight monsters and other players. Path of the Emperor features more than 400 quests (or missions) for players to play through, a compelling battle system, a "skill system" that allows players to define their character's "class" over time, as well as the ability to own virtual real estate within the game. Players can become feudal lords or leaders of clans or bands of warriors.

RYL: Path of the Emperor

R. Y. L.: PATH OF THE EMPEROR, for the PC by Planetwide Games, is a roleplaying game pitting the race of humans (from Kartehena) against the alien race from Merkhadia, the AK’Kan. Although the two groups, the humans and the AK’Kan, have age-old rivalries, there is a force called God’s Pirates which is seeking to establish peace between the two sides, but they are not ashamed to use violence to do so. In this game, players can choose from four different roles: Warrior, Cleric, Wizard, or Thief, each of which has different skills. But don’t worry, special skills can be obtained in other ways throughout the game. Also, players can choose to be a human or an AK’Kan as well as whether they will show allegiance to the race or join God’s Pirates. The game is based on a level-up system; to beat a strong enemy, players must first beat a weaker enemy and power up to the next level. As with most roleplaying games, this game is mostly played online against others. This game is perfect for those into the roleplaying scene. R. Y.
