Products offered by JDHPUBS include:

Books and Manuals for Model “H” Tractors -- Many in both Book form and on CD (eBook form). These include Restoration Guides, 2nd & 3rd Ed, Parts Catalog, Service Guide, Operator’s Manual, Carburetor O-Haul Manual, a Library of Field Service Bulletins for the “H” tractor, and Magneto Service Data for all JD tractor magnetos.

New Parts -- Specialty items include Sparkplug Shields (Covers) and Front Grilles for your “H”.  For “H” and also other models, we have a really neat Safety Step, AB2805R 3-Way Fuel Valve, Sheet Metal Bolt Sets for A, B, G & H styled John Deere tractors of the “pan seat” era, and a full line of authentic Radiator Bolt Sets for all two cylinder tractors from “D” & “GP” up through the mighty “830”.  I even have those D1797R Seat Clamp Nuts (kind with the handle) that allow you to adjust seat position at will.

Note – In accord with prior arrangements with a collection of other suppliers such as Detwiler, Steiner and Heartland Tractor, I can bring literally thousands of new parts to your door along with savings to you, so please feel free to request quotation on any items you need.

New eBay Listings – If you see something you want to buy but I do not have it listed, write or call and I will do my best to make that listing available to you!

Used Parts -- These kind of run the gambit and some “find” activity may be needed, but usually, we quickly zero-in on something for you to decide upon.

Terms & Conditions of Sale

Shipping & Handling Costs, and Insurance -- USPS is my preferred shipper.  Any slight difference between S&H charged and actual postage is to help pay for packaging materials consumed in the process.  I do not generally insure shipments.  If a buyer wants a shipment insured, that buyer is to calculate the added cost, include addition of that amount to payment, and INFORM me that insurance is wanted. I strive to ship IMMEDIATELY after the sale, so please be prompt in writing to me.

Shipping & Handling Time -- In all cases, items are shipped on a “next-day” basis unless extraordinary circumstances come into play – and we’ll work together to smooth those out!  I use Priority Mail for parcels over 13 ounces, Media Mail for books unless otherwise stated, and First Class Mail for items weighing in under 14 ounces.  Delivery times vary.  Within the USA, Priority usually makes the trip in under four days, First Class under 6 days, and Media Mail has been known to take up to ten working days!  If an item you buy is to be sent by Media Mail and you want to upgrade the service, contact me immediately after point of sale!

Delay by Customs -- I cannot exercise any meaningful control over how long a shipment may rest in either US Customs, or the Customs office of a receiving nation.  My promise is to prepare the documents in as straight-forward a way as humanly possible to prevent miss-communication.  I realize Customs inspectors want truth – and from me, they will receive it.  For International shipments, I accept responsibility for timely shipment, not for timely delivery!

Communication -- An open exchange of ideas and concerns during and after a transaction is often the catalyst of a successful transaction.  I do my level best to describe my products, and to place them into your hands without delay. Things do go wrong now and then.  It is how we deal with each shortcoming that makes life pleasant. Write me, call me!  Do something!  I want you to have PEACE!  I want you to be Blessed when buying from me.

Variances in Configuration -- Not all tractors were created equal.  John Deere was committed to bringing the very best out of the factory doors.  This determination drove many engineering changes as “in-step”, “in-line”, or “running” changes as opposed to a collection of changes “saved up” for implementation at some designated point.  There were also some “trial” changes made by direction (or suggestion) of engineering. Such changes generally will not be picked up in parts catalogs, and then many of the more minor changes may have been ignored or even dropped during the 1959-1960 parts catalog rewrite and realignment operation.

Shortages by Configuration – If considered important, each hardware set will come to you with an insert I sometimes call a ‘User Guide Sheet’ which lists all items contained in the set and helps tell where each is used.  When you open your set, you are encouraged to take inventory. During the inventory, match set content to the guide sheet. In event you discover a shortage, please tell me.  Such replacements will be at my cost – it is guaranteed.

Suppose that your inventory was okay, but during preparation for assembly you determine more fastener items are required.  If your tractor’s configuration demands additional fasteners, we will work closely with you to define those requirements, and supply the items needed.  Costs for these items along with shipping will be a customer responsibility.

JDHPUBS Guarantee – The customer is assured full satisfaction with each purchase.  Accordingly, JDHPUBS will make every effort humanly possible to meet customer needs 100%, and to preserve & protect the sale.

Return Policy – If for some reason, the customer simply wants “out” because he (or she) is not satisfied, a full refund of the purchase plus initial shipping will be provided to all domestic buyers upon return of product.  Foreign buyers will receive base price refund only, no reimbursement for initial shipping expenses.  The buyer bears the cost of returning the unwanted product(s).

Contact Data – Phone is 830-627-0430. My full name and street address is: Pat Browning,  1397 Timberhill Drive, New Braunfels TX 78132.  Call or write for any issue, or perhaps only to commiserate.
