Rainbow Glass Co. produced beautiful crackle glass and showed this large jug as #327 in their catalog. 1940's-1960's. I think I would describe the color as green / yellow. The handle, unmistakeable as a Rainbow handle is the same color as the jug. The handle, if you look at it from the back has 2 long thin bubbles that run verticle with the handle and a few tiny bubbles. Bubbles are a part of blown glass and it does not take away from the beauty of the jug. There is a Rainbow pontil mark on the mark. It has lots and lots of mini crackle for great effect in the light. The crackle starts on the bottom and continues up the sides to the base of the spout. It is thick and solid, weighing a bit over a pound. The jug is classic North American style, the color fits it and all the fine crackle add to it's beauty. The condition is excellent, clean and clear glass, no chips or cracks.
