This MONSTER fly is tied on a big 5/0 stainless saltwater hook.  The guys who fish in the bull trout lakes of Nevada/Idaho/Montana,the guys who fish in saltwater BC and Alaska and the guys in saltwater NW Europe -  Norway, Finland, Sweden and Great Britain use a bunch of these each season.  One of my customer friends even uses them on the large bucketmouth bass in the small east Texas lakes where rainbows are released in the winter months!
