Up for auction is a brand new Randall Kirk Hammett RM100KH MTS 100 watt amplifier. Designed & developed with one of the world’s most influential guitar players, Kirk Hammett of Metallica, the new Randall Kirk Hammett MTS Signature Series was created to produce each tube tone of Kirk’s illustrious career. Known for using multiple amps to create his signature sound, we developed the RM100KH with Kirk to encompass his signature clean (KH1), rhythm (KH2) and hi-gain (KH3) lead tones.

The Randall RM100KH Kirk Hammett Amplifier lets you get the Metallica lead guitarist's incredible amp tones in style! The 100-watt output of the RM100KH Kirk Hammett Head is provided courtesy of four quality 6L6 power tubes, while three custom tube preamp modules provide Hammett's favorite clean, crunchy, and over-the-top tones.

Kirk Hammett has been gracing the worldwide stages for years as Metallica's renowned lead guitarist. His crushing yet articulate tone is sought-after by guitarists , and now he's sharing his rig with the rest of us! Hammett worked closely with Randall's engineers to come up with an amp that captures his rig perfectly, right down to tones featured in the three separate MTS tube preamp modules that bear his name. Want legendary crunch? Screaming leads? Haunting clean rhythm tones? Hammett and Randall have your rig ready!

Bias your own power tubes

Change and bias your own power tubes! Enjoy the ease of replacing your power tubes anytime you like with the very user-friendly power tube bias section found on each amplifier. If a tube fails, no problem: The amp will kick that tube out of the circuit and a small LED will light by the tube that fails. Replace only the small protection fuse and tube using a small voltage meter and small screwdriver to adjust each individual bias point. If you like experimenting with different tube types, the bias section allows you to pop-in and bias a new set of tubes in just a few minutes.

MIDI capability

MIDI channel switching! Connect your RM100KH to any MIDI capable external processing and program individual effects to each channel. With the MIDI in/thru jacks simply select your channel and external effect, using the included RF3 MIDI footswitch, press and hold the channel switch button on the head for 2 seconds and hit the store button of the processor to save the preset. The included footswitch will then select both the RM100KH channel and effect you want at the same time.
