You are bidding on a rare 1878 Waterbury Tourbillion mini carriage clock. Clock measures  4 3/4" tall (with handle up) x3"  wide at base x2" deep at base. Solid brass with beveled glass panels. Has a skeletized movement. Marked on lower front  with the Waterbury logo and a pat date of May 21 1878. Condition is very good for a clock of this age. Top is pushed in a little at the one handle mount. left side glass is broken with a piece missing. One hand is missing. Paper dial is intact and in excellent condition.  brass has a nice patina and overall is in great shape. Door opens smoothly and catch works well. All nuts and screws are there and look original. The clock winds and the main spring seems fine but the clock doesnt work. all the gear teeth seem fine.I know little about these clocks but i will try to answer any questions you may have. This is a very nice Waterbury Tourbillion carriage clock that would make a proud addition to your collection. Bid with confidence and check my feedback.
