Designed by Artus Van Briggle in 1903, this rare bowl has extremely crisp carvings of spade-shaped leaves and is in excellent condition. The outside diameter of the bowl is approximately 4.5"and the bowl is approximately 2.2" tall. The inside diameter of the top opening is approximately 2.2". The bowl has a deep purple/maroon color with an apple-green over spray. The bowl is marked with the Van Briggle ”logo”, the word ”VAN BRIGGLE”, the date ”1903”, the design number ”144”, and the Roman numeral ”III”. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. [Please note in picture #5 that there is a white dust speck on one of the leaves.
