Rare Victorian, Eastlake door bell pull. At first I thought it was a door knocker or door latch but I was told it is the outside door pull to a door bell. I think it's brass or bronze with a darkened finish. I will check this out with a magnet and let you know for sure. Absolutely gorgeous! Just look at the detail. It measures 5" long and 2 1/2" wide, the stem is 2 5/8" long. Don't miss this rare piece of history. Check out our other auction items for more old hardware.
I TESTED THIS WITH A MAGNET AND IT DOES NOT STICK, SO IT IS NOT IRON. I STILL THINK IT IS BRASS OR BRONZE.
