Description:

Rare antique Black Americana "Sahara Dates" Advertising Tin Box.

 

Square shaped lithographed tin box with very nice graphics depicting the caricature of a black man with red top hat climbing a palm tree. Made in France, circa 199-1920s.

 

Dimensions:

9-¼" (23.5 cm) x 8-¾" (22 cm) x 4-¼" (11 cm).

 

Condition:

Vivid colors. Rust spots on bottom (in and out). Markings and scratches here and there. Otherwise, fine to very fine overall condition.
