This pedestal cake plate has an extraordinary pattern. I have made a lot of researches and I have not been able to find any other like this one in many reference books. According to an eminent Antique Seller from USA who has been selling antiques for the last 24 years and who had taken a 6 month intensive course on antiques in New-York 24 years ago, this beauty would be from the World War One, WWI, ERA 1914-1918.

This pedestal cake plate measures approx. 13-1/2” in diameter and 1/4" thick and 4-3/8" in diameter at the base with 3/8" thick at the smaller part of the base. It weighs approx. 3 lbs. and 14 oz OR ( 4 pounds ). The plate has a nice worked scalloped edge. The pattern represents three leaved trees in a field of weed and flowers, and you can see in the back end of the field a small farm with a wind mill. The pattern designed is embossed from underneath the plate. Have a good look at these pictures and see how detailed this piece of art is. It is unbelievable.

This piece is in excellent condition. It does not have any chips, flakes or cracks. Nothing to compare with. The rare and beautiful pattern on the plate makes it a unique an especially collectible item. It will be a wonderful treasure to add to your own collection. The embossed designed of this pattern gives wonderful and very special effects depending of the angles from where you look at it.
