Rare Big Sur Monterey California Freeform Necklace

These rare freeform beads are cut from Big Sur or Monterey Jade. They are freeform in shape meaning not one bead is shaped exactly like the other. Each bead is unique. There are a multitude of green colors in this necklace. Ranging from dark green, light green and an almost ocean like greenish blue  (see pictures) This strand is 34" in length, weights over 400 carats and the polish is good. It is very difficult to make beads from Ocean Jade. There is a tremendous loss in the process consequently there are very few Big Sur beads on the market and any jewelry made from these will command a very high price. This auction is for one necklace.
