| This is a very nice piece of the meteorite from Algeria/Morocco named NWA 4664. It was found in 2006 and sold to various meteorite dealers, including myself while on a meteorite buying trip in Africa. This meteorite is a rare type of achondrite called a Diogenite. NWA 4664 is a strange one, everyone thought it was a Lunar meteorite when it was first found. Many pieces totalling more than ~6 kilograms were found. I bought some kilos of material, most of which is sold now.
This piece weighs 1.9547 gram and is a beautiful partslice. It is enclosed in a plastic display box. The cube in the photo measures 1 cm. I am a meteorite dealer and fully gaurantee the authenticity of every meteorite and tektite specimen I sell. Be sure to see me in the March 1999 issue of the Smithsonian Magazine, I am featured in an article about meteorite hunters! I am also featured in Fortune Small Business magazine. Fortune Small Business Magazine Buyer pays $5.00 shipping worldwide. I combine shipping for multiple items. |
