Rare Early Patek Philippe Split Second Chronograph, circa 1865 -No Reserve!

Very Rare, Early Patek Split Second Chrono!

Stunning Solid 18K Gold Case!
This is a Very Rare, Early Patek Philippe Split Second Chronograph in a Solid 18K Gold Case, circa 1865, Offered With No Reserve!

This beautiful Patek Philippe & Co. split second chronograph is stunning (original case, dial, hands, movement). This is one of the most beautiful early watches I have. The heavy case is in excellent condition and at approx. 35 dwt it contains about $1260.00 worth of 18K Gold at todays prices. The serial number is 25811 dating this watch to around 1865. It is patent Philippe (Adrien Philippe’s keyless winding mechanism, patented in 1845). The pallet fork and click need to be replaced, however the rest of the movement is in good condition as you can see fron the photographs. The movement is engraved "Patek Philippe & Co.", and appears to have a solid gold train. The unusual case has an inner crystal dust cover as you can see in the photographs. The enamel dial is in beautiful condition. Measures approximately 50mm in diameter. No Reserve!

Offered with No Reserve! Domestic insurance to be determined at the end of the auction. International bidders please be aware that I will not falsify U.S. Customs documents so don't ask.
