This is a Museum quality Rare Icon Triptique tested and authenticated "To be of the period" (11th to 13th) Century-Consisting of three parts. It has been appraised by the famous Andre Brummer, whose father Joesph is known as the expert and world known collector of Icons. Brummer is noted in the enclosed picture of the Parke Bernet Gallaries (Now Christies) catalogue with his Art Collection/Estate in New York in 1949. His family appraisal of this Icon is in two parts dated August 1989, and is in the picture area breaking down the content of history and evaluation. Another appraisal by Daniel Goldreyer in the picture section, who worked for the Met in New York, and tested the Icon Dec. 1970. I also have included a two part news article in the picture area.
My mother was the Number One Antique Doll Dealer in the world. Over forty-five years ago I went with my family into an estate in Oyster Bay. Long Island, New York that had signed Tiffany Lamps, furniture from President Teddy Roosevelt, and Paintings that were priceless. Mom passed away in 1986, and I inherited this priceless piece of Art. I enclosed it in a Shadow Box on Velvet to preserve it. In that century, it was against the law to pray to God. This Painting on wood folds up and was slid into a desk so the person would not be caught and killed. See the photo of it closed in the picture area. I have been approached by the Museums to donate it, and the auction houses to place it in their catalogs. I decided to sell it privately, and let the world enjoy it. It is magnificent. BANK WIRE TRANSFER ONLY. I AM A POWER SELLER WITH 100% FEEDBACK. You may call me with questions at 805-370-3630.
