 This beautiful work is 25 pages of wonderful illuminations and red script calligraphy.

Robert Louis Stevenson and his wife were deeply spiritual individuals who truly delighted in exploring the wonder and beauty of life and of this world.

This illustrated version of their prayers, which they undertook daily with the natives, including the chief in Vailima, is a wonderful demonstration of what a positive life emphasis and delight in the spiritual life can lead to.

Whether you are interested in Robert Louis Stevenson and his works; Treasure Island, Child's Garden of Verses, Kidnapped, Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, etc. and wondered what kind of man wrote these (prayers are a great insight into the character of a man) or you are excited to see this great calligraphy, these short but wonderful work is a delight to read and behold.

These are 25 pages of Illuminated prayers and thoughts on life and our way of managing it.
(1 page is the book cover and once is the closing comment so really 23 pages of content)

The resolution is moderate at 150 dpi but the colors are still vibrant and striking and it prints out quite nicely on standard 8.5 x 11 inch paper.

We were taken enough with it to print out a couple of these page images and frame them as reminders of positive thinking.
