Rare Antique German Bisque Head Kestner Doll

This listing is for an old rare antique Kestner 160 bisque head doll (circa late 1800's). She measures approximately 17 inches tall. She has gorgeous brown glass sleeping
eyes, open mouth, four inset upper teeth, original plaster pate (removed so the inside of the head can be stuffed to protect the eyes during shipping), thick feathered multi-stroke eyebrows and hand painted upper and lower eyelashes.
The back of her head is impressed:

She is wearing a newer brown mohair braided wig, newer socks, vintage or antique black leather shoes, vintage undergarment. I think her dress might be antique. It appears to be made of silk with metal hook and eye closures on the back. It has some tears along the hems of the ruffles and some of the seams were poorly repaired. It still looks adorable on her.
She is on her original fully articulated wood and composition Kestner body with stamp. It has age related wear and chipping to the finish. It is missing a finger on one hand and is not tightly strung. She is okay when placed on a stand.
Before I listed her I did not notice the hairlines on the back of her head until I lit her head up with a light in a pitch black dark room. They are almost invisible and do not go through the head (see pictures). They are very faint. She also has a factory firing line on the rim of her head as shown in picture.
She comes with an antique 8x6 photograph of the original little girl that owned her. Her name was Mary Mc Laughlin and she was born in 1893. On the front of the photo is the name of the photographer:

Mary will always live on through her beloved doll. Please honor Mary by adopting her cherished baby doll so she could never be forgotten.
I do not smoke, but do not know how many smoking homes these antique / vintage items have been in for all these years. I do have 2 dogs, but all my items for sale are kept behind glass or away from my pets.

Any flaws I see will be noted in auction description. However, antique and vintage items are not perfect and may have imperfections from age that I may have missed by accident. I provide lots of photos at many different angles for you to see the condition very well. Therefore no partial refunds will be allowed. If anything needs to be returned you will pay return shipping. I pack antiques, porcelain, delicates, and collectibles with plenty of care. No need to worry. I usually have very fragile items professionally packed by the UPS Store and pay for that service out of my own pocket. I think my customers are worth the extra effort. Fragile items will be packed in layers of bubblewrap, and the box will be padded with plenty of cushioning.

Payments must be received within 7 days after auction closes otherwise I will file an unpaid item dispute with ebay and relist the item immediately.
If you need a little more time to pay for your items, please email me before making a purchase. There is a possibility we can work out a payment or layaway plan. Just remember to email me for details first, otherwise I need to stick to the original 7 day payment plan as stated above.
If a layaway or payment plan is okayed by me, a non-refundable good faith down payment of 30% must be paid to hold the item. If buyer changes his or her mind, the 30% down is non-refundable and can only be used as a credit in my ebay store and is good for 6 months.
All sales are final. Please ask questions before buying. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have quickly.

I am not making money on shipping. Shipping cannot be negotiated after the listing ends. Please make sure you agree on shipping price before bidding. I wish the USPS and UPS didn't raise prices. I am so sorry for the extra shipping costs to you and hope you will understand. If the shipping I quote you in the listing is less than I anticipated, I will refund you the difference if it is over $4. I have most of my fragile items professionally packed at the UPS Store and pay for it out out of my own pocket. Packing materials are very costly.

Insurance is a must. I fully insure all items. I do not ship my items out unless they are insured unless they are very low valued items.
If item arrives broken, you must keep all of the original packing material and box, otherwise insurance claim will be voided. By bidding or buying you also agree to cooperate with filling out insurance claim forms and filing at your local post office. Insurance claims may take 30 days or more to be paid out.
