Jade Snow Wong - San Francisco

The incredibly talented and wonderful artist and author Jade Snow Wong (1922 - 2006) created the most beautiful enamel on copper treasures and ceramic works of art, as well as literary works.  She was known as a San Francisco "Living Treasure" and her beautiful works of art are highly sought after and rising in value.  I enjoyed speaking with her in her San Francisco shop over the years.

There are numerous sites about her on the internet - just type in Jade Snow Wong - and you can read the fascinating history of her life and work.  

Her superb, innovative color sense and amazing skills are obvious in this beautifully glowing vessel. It shimmers with gorgeous shades of teal and blue, plus tiny gold dots.

Her beautiful works of art continue to rise in value.
