A very rare find! This is a large and very hefty PARKER 51 "Presidential" fountain pen in solid 18 k gold (mint-marked on the clip) and the entire pen outer cap and barrel is guaranteed to be the same. It has a beautiful alternate wavy line design and has no deep dings (has one depression which is shown in photo and 3mm tiny microsplit at barrel thread, so fine photo cannot show).

The filler is a nicely working aerometric labeled Parker 51 and depress 4 times. The Parker gold nib is about an extra fine point.

I hate to let this valuable beauty go!

 The pen  has been ultrasonically cleaned, gently polished and has a working sack.

 Pay Pal sells International Priority Mail "Tracked".  However, according to the USPS, Intn'l Priority Mail is NOT tracked. They do not even scan it when it's picked up!  For that reason all shipments must be with tracking. (Blame Pay Pal and the USPS for the cost... I cannot help their policies/cost).

I have had folks win without thoroughly reading and looking at the photos. Now is the time to look and ask questions... not after you win the bid. This will save us all so much trouble.

It is next to impossible to find any and every possible issue which may exist microscopically or with a loupe. I have described these items as I see them. The buyer accepts that these are vintage and understands that these are very good, but possibly not perfect as few vintage items are. My approval ratings show that I am a fair and ethical seller, so please rest assured!

A: It is quite useable and any ink will do. Parker designed the Quink ink which is quick-drying especially for this pen, but now about all inks are of sufficient quality for it. Thanks for bidding.
