Rare Vintage Crepe Halloween Flapper Headband Hat

Welcome to Robins in the Trundle Bed, brimming with antiques, whimsies, and fripperies that we have gathered in treasure hunts over the New England countryside.  We are pleased to offer this charming and rare crepe paper flapper style Halloween headband. The band is made of doubled orange crepe paper and has a label that says “Dennison Mfg Co, The Tag Makers, Framingham, Mass, USA.” Attached to the band is a pleated black crepe piece that is shaped like a feather.  There is a little orange and black sticker of a green eyed smiling cat wearing a witch’s hat affixed to the crepe.

Condition and Size:

The piece in excellent condition. The black crepe has a few bends.  It is rare for such piece to have survived!  The headband, laid flat, measures 9 ½”

We ship what we feel is the best and fastest method, via USPS Priority Mail. We will not ship Parcel Post as it is an unreliable service.  We do not charge a handling fee, but will pack your item with great attention and care. Please use the shipping calculator to figure shipping charges.  We let you know shipping costs up front.  Please do not bid if you are not happy with the USPS Priority Mail rate. We are happy to combine shipping if you win multiple items and will contact you after the auction has ended with combined shipping costs.  We strongly suggest that you purchase insurance. Please wait for an invoice before paying, since insurance is based on the final value of the item.

We will ship internationally.  If you are the winning bidder and not a US resident, please e-mail us for shipping costs at the close of the auction.   International auction winners, please do not pay until you receive exact shipping costs from us (not the first email from Ebay as the calculator will not figure exact international shipping). International buyers, please know that we ship the best and quickest way possible and when possible we will offer you two shipping options. Please be aware of any duties, tariffs or taxes levied upon any international sale and possible delays that may occur at customs.  We suggest that you check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. Thank you for your understanding!
