Rare Vintage Waterman Men's Patrician Pencil - Onyx

This auction is for a vintage Waterman Men's Patrician pencil from the 1930s. It measures approx. 5 1/2" in length. As rare as the Waterman Patrician fountain pen is, the matching pencils are even more scarce. This example is in onyx celluloid and the colors are extraordinary. The lead storage compartment has been left in original condition, and the eraser may be original. There is some brassing along the hard edges on the clip, but the clip is tight to the body. There isn't any brassing evident on the gold band or on the pencil's tip. The mechinism extends and retracts the lead, and feels smooth.
