This scarce photo was once the property of a WWII pilot who flew with the a4th Air Force in the China-Burma-India Theatre; moreover, depicted is the very aircraft he flew. When I asked him why the aircraft was numbered "II" he replied "because I cracked up the first one!"He further indicated that the photo was taken in China in 1943. The glosy measures 8" x 8" and is in good condition, though there is water damage and occasional creasing. Buyer pays $2.75 postage/handling. Georgia residents add 6% sales tax. |
