The "great white hope" of the vacuum tube industry in the early 1960's were subminiature tubes working on relatively low voltages. These promptly got shot out of the saddle by transistors and later by integrated circuits that included transistors by the dozens, thousands, or millions. Offered here is a Raytheon CK6088 subminiature pentode removed from equipment. While it is believed workable and guaranteed usable, we offer it primarily as a unique collectible of the last gasp of a dying breed. This part number is extremely hard to find and is not listed by most vacuum tube supliers. CK6088 by Raytheon is a five pin miniature pentode having a 1.25 volt 20 ma direct filament, a normal grid bias of -1.2 volts, a screen of 45 volts and a plate of 45 volts. Plate resistance is 0.75 meg and mutual conductance is 600 micromhos. Unit measures a scant 1-1/2 inches high. We provide flying leads that have been cropped to fit a five pin miniature socket. You can click here to reach the CK6088 summary data. We accept PayPal.No foreign bidders. US-only buyer to pay shipping charges of $5.05.
