I consider this particular product rather invaluable for reborning with air dry paints. It is an excellent blending agent for your paints, especially when you are looking to do skin mottleing or texture tones becuase it give the paints some substance to be workable on the vinyl and not run off.

The blending gel also has a wonderful non-toxic ingredient that is an extender. This makes it perfect to go over lower tone layers and blend any higher pigment blotches to an even beautiful overall tone for your reborn

Here is a more specific explanation on this special product and its use in reborning...

Reborner's Real Results Brush Blending Gel

You can use a little directly on your clean damp paintbrushes, apply the gel and work it into the brush on your palette and then paint with your color washes and this really helps the paint to be clump free and blend nicely onto the vinyl. Like any plastic surface, vinyl resists water so the gel and also our paint thinner becuase invaluable tools to keep the paint on the baby while you work our your skin tones and details.

Our Gel has an Extending Medium in it that Retards the Drying of the Paints. This makes it a very handy gentle correcting tool when you are painting! I use a small dab on a Q-Tip to correct little areas that have too much paint pigment. Try to never correct painting mistakes with Goof Off or Acetone as you will wipe out all the underlayers of your babys paint job and make it very difficult to correct.

I use the gel to gently correct as I go and it is also useful for making soft, muted eyebrows. I also like to go over each layer with a cosmetic wedge dipped in gel just to even out my color tones.. Especially Great for Ethnic Baby Skin Tone Blending!
