Here he speaks on issues of national and international concern, and he shares anecdotes of his extraordinary life. Reagan wrote most of the addresses himself, and one can see in them a consistent philosophy and the seeds of his imminent presidency. The speeches are introduced by important people in his life, including George Schultz, Nancy Reagan, Ed Meese, and others. They are a companion to the larger collection of writings, REAGAN IN HIS OWN HAND. But these recordings are special because it is here that one can hear Reagan's own words in his own voice.
