Hailey was created from the much sought after RDK Limited Edition Haily by Wendy Dickison (sometimes mistakenly called Wendy Dickinson). Hailey is a SOLD OUT Reborn Doll Kits baby. Wendy Dickison is such a talented sculptor! Hailey is PERFECT in every way and an utter pleasure to reborn. Her fingers and toes are the sweetest, most precious things I have ever seen! I could just sit and hold them forever. They look just like newborn fingers and toes with all of their little wrinkles. Haily's sweet face is a little pudgy and scrunched like she's not sleeping too well--just like a newborn--or getting ready to wake up. I fall in love with all of my babies, but I'm so in love with this little girl that I hate to place her for adoption. Her vinyl is soft and wonderful; she's so easy to snuggle.

Hailey is made of super soft, RDK vinyl.
Hailey has "newborn real skin"-- a mottled appearance with veining and capillaries just like a real baby. She also has blue areas and purple undertones in different areas for realism, especially on her scalp.
Hailey has been lovingly painted with Genesis Heat Set Paints and then sealed with special sealers to protect her beautiful skin for many years.
Hailey's nails have been delicately painted for that newborn baby look. They do not appear perfectly manicured, because most babies do not have perfect little manicures after delivery. Her nails have been triple sealed to protect against chipping.
Every wrinkle of Hailey's skin has been lightly blushed to match her skin. Her face and the skin on her arms and legs have a lightly flushed appearance.
I have not opened Hailey's nose. I did not want to compromise the vinyl because it is extremely soft. Her nose is shaded for realism.
Hailey's hair is a beautiful premium angora mohair blend of auburn and red hair. Her hair has been painstakingly circular micro-rooted one hair at a time over the course of many, many hours. Her hair can be styled just like human hair. You will find photos below of her hair wet and dry so you can see how gorgeous it truly is. It has been sealed and waterproofed so her new mommy can gently shampoo and condition it for styling.
Hailey's eyelashes are micro-rooted with real mohair to match the hair on her head.
Hailey has very finely painted eyebrows.
Hailey has 3/4 length limbs and a very soft doe-suede body that makes her absolutely perfect for cuddling and snuggling. She can also has moveable joints so she can be posed in many different ways, too.
Hailey has been weighted just like a real baby. Her head is floppy and heavy, while the rest of her body is more limp. She is not "overstuffed"at all.
Hailey is weighted with poly-pellets, glass beads, poly-fil, and steel pelleting for ultra realism. There is NO SAND in Hailey. Only fine, sterile products are used in my babies.
Hailey's head has an interior finish that allows any magnetic hairbow to adhere to either side of her head, as well as in several other common areas where hair barettes are applied.
Hailey is fitted with an *interior magnet for a magnetic pacifier.

Angenette Wills (Angie, as everyone calls her) has been reborning/newborning for over 3 years now. Along with being a full-time mom, wife, and college student, she is also a published children's writer and freelance writer for Secrist Doll Company. You can find one of her articles on the Secrist website right now! Angie also dabbles in maternity, newborn, and children's photography. In addition, she loves sculpting and hopes to have some of her sculpts produced into doll kits in the future.
Angie and her husband have also established a fund to help adoptive parents fund REAL adoptions for children. This is the MTBB fund, and beginning in 2008, a percentage of the proceeds from each sale will be going into the fund to help real babies find forever homes. I wanted to tell you and your friends at *Meant to Be* Babies how much I love Autumn Rose! She's so life-like and huggable! This weekend one of my friends, Allison, visited me and I "introduced" her to Autumn Rose. Allison was also amazed how life like she feels in your arms! Before we knew it Allison had swaddled Autumn Rose up in her arms and was rocking her and patting her back like one would do a real baby! Needless to say Autumn Rose has been a wonderful addition to our family! Oh and she keeps my husband on his toes wondering if I have forgotten she is a reborn doll and not a real baby!! You should have seen his face the day I came home all excited because I found a sweater that matched her clothes. ;)

I appreciate all of your bids. I start my bidding costs as low as possible to give every one a chance to own a beautiful reborn baby. The amount is high enough to cover the costs of clothing (sometimes substantial), the doll kit, accessories, and all of my supplies for making the doll. I charge very little additional money for the time I've put into the doll, and trust me, it's a lot of time. I'm thrilled when bidding goes beyond my expectations, because it lets me know that you, the buyer, really appreciate my work. It makes all of the time I invest in this art well worth it.
