About me:  I have been refurbishing dolls and finding new homes for them all over the world, collecting vintage dolls, sewing vintage clothes (Baby Face dolls, Baby So Beautiful dolls, Tiny Tears, American Character dolls for about 8 years now.  All through Ebay.  I am now reborning.  For about 7 months.  I fell in love with this artistry and it is absolutely an art.  Amazing to purchase a doll "kit" and create a reborn baby that is just that.  Reborn!  They look so real when I am finished it is so awesome!  The techniques, which I have practiced and studied are truly an art form.  I love it!  Each reborn baby I make has it's own personality, and they do develop personalities as you create.  It takes many hours and it is a labor of love.  I still have my other refurbishing and making doll/baby clothes but this reborning has become my passion.  My hope is to find families for all my precious bundles and have others enjoy them as much as I do.

"In the Beginning" I was an Elly Knoops Sculpt "Bibi".  Then I was transformed into LUCAS!  I had my first warm bubble bath to remove any factory residues.

  LUCAS'S beautiful real baby skin tones were achieved by using many layers of Air Dry paints (hours drying time between each of many layers).  These paints will last a lifetime and never fade or peel.  Each one of my babies is created using my own special blends of paints and no two babies are ever the same.  I create my babies one at a time.  It is always such a thrill deciding which gender my reborn will be.  LUCAS is all boy?  Lovely boy hands and feet and sturdy legs and arms.  He has a beautiful expression.  Looks like he is a worried, worried boy or maybe just a real rascally fella.  Elly Knoops sculpts have the most expressive faces and are probably my favorites.  Meant to be about a month old.  Not newborn.  I spend hours of fun picking their layettes.  Dressing each baby to look their best.  Such fun! 

  LUCAS'S has 3/4 vinyl limbs and a custom made doe suede body.  His body and head have been weighted with premium glass beads (NO SAND so Lucas can be a world traveller) and fiber fill.  His arms and legs have been filled with poly pellets for a realistic feel and weight. 

LUCAS'S little fingernails and toenails have been carefully manicured for a just clipped appearance.  They have been hand painted and then sealed for protection.  His lips have been painted in a soft natural rose color, glossed, and sealed.

LUCAS has been given a beautiful shade of blue eyes from Secrist.  He appears to be looking right at you.  He almost speaks to you with those eyes.  He has barely there eyebrows.  His little nose has been opened and backed with dark felt for added depth and realism.  He is what we reborners call a "BREATHER".

LUCAS'S hair has been meticulously micro rooted in a beautiful shade of blond.  It is soft, wavey premium angora mohair.  It has been sealed on the inside so that it can be dampened and gently styled.  It goes darker when wet and is fairly wavey wet or dry. 

Do you love me yet?

Don't you just want to pick me up?  I am so cuddly and love to be held.  I am a good snuggler too.  When you hold me my head needs to be supported because I am too young to hold it up myself.  Once you hold me you will not want to put me down.  I need to be cuddled every single day.  I am a good sleeper and sleep right through the night.  I am a very quiet boy all of the time.  I am hoping I can find a home before Christmas.  I know my new family is out there waiting for me to come home.

Shipping in Canada and USA will be $34.95.  My babies will be shipped expedited 7-10 working days Canada & USA and will be insured (to $100)  and have a tracking #.   Babies will be professionally packaged with brand new supplies.  Babies will be wrapped in a receiving blanket for travel, then bubble wrap and packing peanuts.  The boxes have been made specially to fit these precious bundles.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS, PLEASE READ

LUCAS is no longer a play doll.  He is now an heirloom quality collectible reborn baby and needs to be handled very gently.  Not a doll for small children to play with.  He should be handled like you would a newborn baby.  The limbs and head move easily but gently.  His hair can be styled wet or dry but again gently.  He should never be left in a hot or cold car or displayed near any type of heat source.  He is very posable but do not force the limbs or head.  LUCAS has a magnet for his paci and care should be taken around pacemakers or any other electronics.
