Description

The main bead for this necklace set is recycled paper.  The paper was originally one of the pages from the Disney book, "Chicken Little". My library sold the book to me as a discard since the cover was torn off.  Rather than see those beautiful Disney colors thrown away,  I cut the paper then rolled each piece into a bead.  I then dipped all the beads in polyacrylic to seal out moisture and dirt.  There were then strung into a beautiful piece of art jewelry.  The beads between the paper beads are seed beads and brown cats eye beads. This is such a beautiful mixing of Reds and Browns!

The paper beads are 1" long and 1/4" wide.  The overall length of the necklace is 20 inches.  This is a very rich looking necklace and would look beautiful with a suit jacket or your favorite pair of jeans!

The closure is a silver colored "pearl", or "fish-hook" safety closure.  The matching earrings are hung on stainless surgical steel ear wires (French style dangle earrings) for those of us with sensitive skin.  The earrings have one of the beautiful paper beads with small red seed beads on either end.
