Red Wing Stoneware Albany Slip Glaze Hot Water Bottle

 

Personal item we had purchased from a local collector.

 

Red Wing Stoneware Albany Slip Glaze Hot Water Bottle - Circa 1910 - with Stopper!

 

This piece measures 12" in height.  Normal production flaws exist such as glaze poppings and areas that the Albany Slip glaze did not completely cover.  (You can see clear glaze covering these areas).

 

There is a surface chip that is located on the bottom rim measuring 1/4" in length.  Original stopper and chain are in good condition just in need of a thorough cleaning.  Some surface rust exists on stopper (sealing portion) and inside rim of opening. 

 

This piece has no mark but we do not question that it is Red Wing Stoneware.  Piece weighs 4lbs 10.2ozs.

 

I describe items honestly and the best that I can. If you have any ?'s please ask prior to bidding.  I will combine shipping for multiple purchases.   Insurance will be required on this item.
