User Guide
  1. This connecting cord is designed for use with cameras equipped with the Nikon 10-pin remote terminal.
  2. To connect the plug, align the arrow on the back of the plug with the alignment dot on the camera body.
    • If the plug does not slide in smoothly, the alignment marks on the plug and camera may not be lined up properly. Please check the alignment again.
  3. Anchor the plug by twisting the lock screw clockwise.
    • To disconnect the cord, turn the lock screw counterclockwise and pull out the plug.
  4. The release button uses a two-step system. Press the release button halfway to focus the subject, then adjust the shutter speed and exposure. Press the button fully to release the shutter and take the picture.
    • While pressing the release button fully, slide it in the direction of the arrow to lock the shutter. This is particularly useful for BULB function photography.
  5. The Nova 5MGMC-30 remote switch can be used for single-frame or continuous shooting, depending on which film advance mode has been selected for the camera.
    • When using the Nova 5MGMC-30 remote switch, the camera's exposure information and the other data will be displayed in the same way as when using the camera's shutter release button.
