This is an Elizabethan style Partlet Blouse for Renaissance Faires or reenactment. It is a one size fits most. It can be worn closed for a more ladylike appearance or open in the chest for a more outgoing look. The sleeves are extra long and can be worn either under a gown or pulled through the sleeves of open sleeved gowns. It works for pretty much anything :) It has a drawstring neck with ribbon.
It is just like a modern blouse, including set-in sleeves and trimmed at the collar
with authentic box pleating, closes with ribbon ties. Adjustable elastic at
wrists. It is soft white cotton muslin. Cool for those summer faire days.
It was purchased from the Very Merry Seamstress for $50, so you know it is high quality. Unfortunately I needed a long floorlength chemise and this is a blouse. My fault for not paying attention ;)
