Why pay $81.90 to buy this new from Kids Fly Safe? Rent it from me for just $13.99 (plus S/H).

Why I love it: I first bought a CARES child restraint in October 2006 for my daughter to use on our vacation and it worked perfectly!! I felt so good knowing that she was safe. Best of all:
- I didn't have to lug her big carseat through the airport.
- It helped to keep her calm and not so fidgety during the flight since she is used to being in a 5-point harness carseat anyway.
- She could sit in any seat (window, middle, or aisle).
- She had more legroom than when in her carseat (so I spent less time apologizing to the person in front of her for her kicking their seat).
What I'm offering: The CARES seatbelt is expensive to purchase new from the Kids Fly Safe website ($74.95 plus $6.95 S/H). Unless you travel a lot, it might not be worth the investment to purchase one for yourself. So...rent one of mine instead! I have quite a large inventory and have completed 1600+ rentals! For just $13.99 plus S/H, I will send you the entire package (seat belt, instructional DVD, reference card, and carry bag) for your rental use. Additional charges may apply if your actual travel dates are for more than 21 days.

A note about my pictures: In the picture of my two children together, my son is 16 months old and my daughter is 3-1/2 years old. I could not get both of them to look nicely at the camera at the same time no matter how hard I tried!! But the picture still lets you see how the CARES restraints work in real life. I found it helpful to use a piece of rubberized non-slip drawer liner for the kids to sit on to keep them from sliding forward on the leather seats. You can see my son sitting on a piece of the drawer liner in this picture. In the other five pictures, my son is 3 years old and my daughter is 5-1/4 years old.
Suggestion: Even if you do not want to rent this at this time, click here to add me to your FAVORITE SELLERS LIST so that it is convenient to find my CARES rental listing later when you are ready to travel.
Now for "The Fine Print":
- You are welcome to rent any number of my available CARES restraints. Contact me BEFORE using Buy It Now to determine the exact availability and to establish the shipping dates. (Please don't use Buy It Now until you contact me! Thank you!)
My CARES restraints are in New / Essentially New Condition. If you rent one and it is returned to me with damage or significant wear/tear, I will send it back to you (yours to keep) and you will be charged $81.90 (the full purchase price). This is the same type of arrangement with most things that you rent (videos, tuxedos, etc.).
If the CARES restraint is not returned by the due date we both agree upon, I will charge you a late fee of $10 per day beyond the due date. The due date is the date by which the returning package is to be postmarked. (You don't need to get the CARES to me by that date - you just need to get it to the Post Office by that date.) Be aware that if you return the CARES restraint late, you may be making it impossible for the CARES to arrive to the next family in time for their vacation!
This is a PayPal-only transaction.
Unfortunately, Florida residents will need to pay sales tax. :-(
If you need me to ship the CARES immediately (within 24 hours of when you complete the transaction), there may be a $5 "rush shipping" fee to offset the unscheduled trip to the Post Office.
I will ship this to you through US Mail Priority Mail (typically 2-3 days). You must return it to me using Priority Mail (2-3 day) unless we make other arrangements. Local pickup in the Tampa Bay, Florida, area is also an option.
The S/H for one CARES is a flat fee of $5.50. The S/H for each additional CARES is $3.25.
If you require faster delivery, shipment of one CARES by US Mail Express Mail (next day delivery) will increase the S/H fee to $18.50. Contact me for the S/H for sending two CARES by Express Mail as the Post Office bases the price on weight and zone.
The eBay form requires that I list a "handling time" showing how soon your package will be shipped after completing the transaction. Due to the huge variation in dates that people are reserving CARES restraints for, this "handling time" detail is not applicable to my rental transactions. After you contact me with your travel dates, I will reply with a proposed shipping schedule. Please refer to that email for the accurate "handling time."
Two more points:
(1) This is a "first come, first served" arrangement. Once you contact me and I let you know if the CARES is available for your dates, you must use Buy It Now to actually reserve those dates. The longer you wait after getting the OK from me, the greater the chance that someone else could take your dates.
(2) Plan Ahead! I would highly encourage you to book as soon as possible for any upcoming vacation as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's dates (and even spring break dates) are being reserved every day.
