We search worldwide for new and known meteorites. 
Since 1995, we have mounted expeditions to Tsarev, Brahin, Kunya Urgench, Dronino, Markovka, Seymchan, Sikhote-Alin and many others in Russia and nearby. 
We have also collected many meteorites from North Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the United States.
We have gathered samples of almost all types of known meteorites, including a large collection of lunar meteorites.

We are on the world market since 2000, and on eBay since 2004. The new Cometshop on eBay is formed from our old cometshop21 that had more then 500 positive feedbacks, more than 2000 good deals with 99.9% positive (before 2006).

Sikhote Alin

      Fell 1947, February 12, Russia

      This is an excellent poster of the famous eyewitness painting "Fall of the Sikhote Alin meteorite" by A.A.Medvedev.

      The artist was painting a picture of his village in February 1947 from the roof of his house. Suddenly a huge fireball came whooshing through the sky and crashed in the forest nearby. Of course the artist put the meteor and its long, smoky tail in his painting. The original is in a museum in Moscow.

      We offer high-quality reproductions of this astonishing painting. 1:1 to the original size of 40.5 x 55 cm (16 x 21.6 inches).
