Up for bids is a gorgeous 100 year old Dayton 2 lb. candy scale last patented in 1906. This scale is as nice as they come! Every piece of this scale has been restored, inside and out. This includes a completely restored indicator needle assembly, a new chart face front and back, new indicator bearings, new rubber feet on the base, new bumpers on the scoop spider, and new brass hardware. The scale was painted with PPG automotive paint, and then clearcoated three times. The result is a glass like high gloss finish that is second to none! The decals and hand striping are under the clearcoat and will never come off! The hand striping is gold metallic. The color is laser red metalic, and it is gorgeous! The scale has been properly set up and adjusted. No shortcuts were taken, no detail has been overlooked, and no unpleasant surprises when you receive this scale. I have sold more than 125 restored scales on eBay since 1999. All buyer feedback has been positive, and I have numerous second and third time buyers.
