This doll's house is located in a 55+ community just 30 minutes north of Tampa Florida.  Country setting, yet still close enough to all the big city amenities.  30 minutes is all it takes to travel to the International Airport, one of the world's top rated beaches, (Honeymoon Island), Busch Gardens Theme Park, and International Plaza; a mecca for shopping and fine dining experiences.  90 minutes to Orlando and Disneyworld.  Plus!  The port of Tampa is a favorite departure for Carnival, Holland, Princess, and Royal Carribbean Cruise Lines. 

 

New Port Richey is a sleepy community with a small town feel.  Boating, golf, birding, antiquing, is available all year round.   This home is situated just a few minutes from J.B. Starkey Wilderness Park with miles of hiking trails, biking trails, cabins, and campgrounds.  We've seen gators, boars, deer, osprey, egrets, cranes, and wild turkeys while walking there!  For fun we rent a pontoon boat for the day and boat out to Anclote Key with it's miles and miles of deserted beaches on the Gulf.  Just 20 minutes north of us there are the Homossassa Springs on the Chassowitzka River.  We rent a canoe and go swimming in the springs and their pure crystal waters.  We've bumped into manatees on the river too.
