I purchased this beautiful bag from Ruehl, which is a subsidiary of Abercrombie & Finch. It's the “MacGraw Shoulder Bag” in soft, genuine Italian suede. The color is “cacao” which is the color of hot chocolate. If you've read any celebrity, style or fashion magazines lately, you know that the fringed boho look has returned. In fact, the September 28 edition of OK has an entire page dedicated to "hot" bags and one page is entirely devoted to those with fringe. And it's not just bags, clothing and shoes are also fringed. This bag is truly gorgeous. It has two rows of 6-1/2 inch hanging fringe on the bottom half of the body. It has a drawstring top closure that can be cinched in and held in place with a suede push tab. The drawstring ends have 6-inch flirty tassels that hang down the front. The body is top-stitched in beige. The hardware is brushed and an aged silver-tone, most of it being logo engraved. The strap attached to the corners with large rings and the drop can be adjusted from 18 to 20 inches, ideal for long shoulder or cross body carrying. It's lined with brown twill and inside there's a zippered pocket, two suede top edged function pockets plus loads of room for everything you need to carry, including a large cosmetics bag, PDA and bottled water. I've included a photo of my husband modeling the bag to help you envision size. Ron is 5’ 6” tall and weighs 140.

This is one of those big, soft, slouchy bags you just can't help but love. The color will coordinate with lots of outfits and is year round appropriate. It's the perfect time of time to carry suede. The hanging fringe is just gorgeous - it's the ultimate boho hippie chick bag. It's new, unused with no flaws like scratches, scuffs, rips, tears, stains or smells (smoke free household). There's no reserve and insured UPS ground shipping within the USA is free. About the Designer/Brand:

The German Ruehl family immigrated to NYC’s Greenwich Village in the late 1800’s where the moved into brownstone No. 921 on Greenwich Street and opened up a leather goods shop. The bulldog logo stems from their first customer, an "inquisitive" little bulldog who wandered in with a "steadfast demeanor" and a "confident attitude". The Ruehl's son and later their grandson added Nos. 923 and 925 and diversified, adding other lifestyle accessories and jeans to the line. In 200s, Abercrombie & Fitch bought the rights to the family's name. It’s a great story that is well publicized but completely fictional. There exists no building numbers past the 800s on Greenwich Street and there are no records of there being an established Ruehl family in the Village either. RUEHL No.925, or simply RUEHL (spelled all-uppercase pronounced "rule”), is an upscale American lifestyle brand from Abercrombie & Fitch Co. inspired by the artistic and cultural heritage of New York City's Greenwich Village. It was A&F’s first brand to develop fine Italian leather goods for both men and women and is designed for post-collegiate, yuppie individuals. Ruehl handbags are comparable in quality to other well known mid-priced ($400-$800) brands that cost considerably more. They are fast becoming their main competitor which is gaining a celebrity following as evidenced by the growing numbers of starlets pictured in magazines carrying them.

Since I purchased this bag myself direct from Reuhl, I’m positive it’s authentic. However, if upon receipt and inspecting it yourself you have any doubts, please contact me to relay your concerns and request return. I would also encourage you to take the bag to the reputable store of your choice that regularly sells Reuhl bags and ask them to confirm authenticity. If the retailer is of the opinion that the bag is not genuine, I would truly appreciate receiving that opinion along with the reasons therefore and contact information in writing so I can provide that to and have a serious discussion with Reuhl’s customer service manager. If a return is requested, the tag must still be intact, the bag unused and all of the accompanying materials present, I will issue a refund once I inspect the bag to make sure it indeed is the same one that was sent, hasn’t been used and has all the aforementioned components (sorry, but I’ve got to protect myself from those who practice “bait and take” and “modeling”),

Shipping Information:

Shipping via insured UPS ground within the USA is free. To ensure there is a mechanism to cover potential damage or loss during shipment and document that the package was delivered to the intended recipient at the address specified on the PayPal payment notification, all packages shipped within the USA will be insured and require a signature for delivery. For those of you who work full time (like me), requiring a signature can be inconvenient. However, since the package will be shipped to the address specified on the PayPal payment notification, you can change the address in PayPal for that specific payment to your work or other location of your choice, such as a UPS store in your area. I wrap packages very securely and have not yet experienced damage or loss. But, there is always a first time for everything so the insurance protects us both. I'm sorry that I cannot afford to offer USPS as a free shipping alternative. If you choose USPS, please understand that the estimated cost includes not only the postage based upon the weight of the bag inside the shipping box w/packaging materials to keep it safe/undamaged during transit but also insurance coverage based upon the replacement value of the bag and the fee for signature required delivery.

I will do my best to securely wrap your package but if on the rare chance your bag does get damaged, please contact me immediately and keep the box and all packaging as the carrier will need to see it for the insurance claim. If you use a knife or other sharp object to open the box, be careful not to let it slip inside where it could penetrate the dust cover and cut the bag. Shipping insurance will not cover that type of damage.

International buyers, I'm sorry but I cannot afford to absorb your shipping cost, but I will do all you need me to do to "facilitate" customs clearance. Depending on value declaration, up to $100 of shipping insurance is included (the max amount the USA will cover and allow me to purchase).
