     Here is all the pieces you need to replace all the damper felts in your Rhodes 88 Piano. At over thirty years old, your Rhodes could use a new set of dampers. Most of the pianos we see have deep grooves in the damper felts, or are bent out of position or missing altogether.

There are three different style felts to accomodate the entire length of the keyboard. Installation is simple. Just remove the old damper felts and install the new ones in their place. We use 3M Automotive Weatherstrip adhesive (not included) available at Napa Auto Parts.

     While you have the piano opened up, you may want to consider replacing the hammer tips. We have hammer tip kits available and these two mods will certainly help the sound and playability of your Rhodes.
