CAE Rhodes Suitcase Power Amplifier
Replace your original amps with a better sounding replacement
This is the perfect replacement for your old, blown out power amps in your Rhodes Suitcase Piano bottom. It's cleaner, brighter and more serviceable than the originals. This is for the Peterson model piano.
Once again, when we at CAE Sound could no longer get parts to repair the originals, we built our own. Our founder and head designer found it difficult to get parts so he looked at the original design and improved upon it using the best modern parts available. The result is a better sounding, more reliable amp. The original amp used Delco germanium output transistors which weren't so hot to start with, and a interstage transformer that is nearly impossible to replace these days. The last photo we've posted shows an original transformer that smoked.
So if you are looking to replace the old mushy sounding amps in your piano, take advantage of the improvement in parts quality and modern design by installing a pair of brand new amps in your Peterson bottom.
Like all of our stuff, we make these here in our California shop, out of the best parts we can find. We build all our parts and equipment with exceptional performance and outstanding quality as our goal.
