INTRODUCTION: I recently bought a large number of older household and decorative items (many figurines and a few pieces of glass) from a woman whose house was amazing. She and her mother and her sister all loved pretty things and had huge collections. Now this lady has everything from all 3 houses and has to dispose of some of them to be able to move around in her house.

It appeared that none of these family members ever threw anything away, and most of their things were very well taken care of. In addition to older things, there are also things which were clearly recent gifts.

I bought enough that the lady should be able soon to get into the closets, where she says there are many more boxes packed away. I'll be continuing to list things from this purchase for the next several weeks.

DESCRIPTION: This is a miniature plate in the Siena Rust pattern produced in 1965 to commemorate the Italian company, Richard Ginori's, 230th anniversary. The mark on the back reads:

This pattern features a blank embossed with swirls and dots and a design of 2 roosters or cocks done in burnt orange and gold. The scalloped edge is decorated in gold.

I have 3 of these plates, which come in their original gift boxes. If you purchase one, you'll be taken to a page asking how many you wish to buy (up to the number currently available).

SIZE: This plate is 3 1/2" in diameter.

CONDITION: This item is in new condition - no damage or wear. NOTE: The foam pad in the box is in poor condition - disintegrating.

	I've been selling antiques and collectibles since the early 1980s and had a retail shop until 2001. I buy most of my merchandise from residents of the retirement community where I live.
