This saddle was custom ordered and hand made for me by Rico Saddler. Rico Saddlers makes some of the most comfortable and best quality saddles I have owed. I would not hesitate to compare his custom ordered saddles to any saddle maker at any price.

I ordered the saddle as a 17” and because of the padding and leather, it sits like a 161/2” which is a little to tight for me. I have ridden the saddle about twenty times and it is not getting any better. I will order the same saddle except in a 171/2”. The saddle has been exceptionally cared for as you can see.

I am showing the size so you can judge for your self. The design of the saddle is full basket stamped, with a padded nubuck leather seat and two-inch Nettles stirrups.

As you can see from the pictures that do not do this saddle justice (cell phone camera), this is a saddle that is normally not available unless custom ordered. The saddle is made with all Herman Oak leather and stands out in the crowd. This saddle is Cutter with a BW tree, OD 4 horn, 6 7/8" quarter horse bars, all stainless steel hardware, dark oiled, and stainless breast collar dees.

The saddle also has matching breast collar and wide rear flank strap. They not only match the saddle perfectly but also are of the highest quality. The saddle is oiled and is ready for a new home.
