Very high resolution image made from rare photo owned by the Peary family. I left the actual color tone of the print as I found it. It has lovely shades of brown. An intense look into the eyes of the man who led 18 years of expeditions to the Arctic. There is no doubt, looking into his face, that this was the determination that brave near death numerous times. A very nice reprint that you will not find anywhere else.
