Rolex Daytona V Serial Number Never been worn

This watch was purchased as an investment from a private client and original owner.  The watch comes with a stamped warrant card dated January 2009.  This watch needs no introduction. Over the last ten years a steel  Rolex black dial Daytona  has consistently been one of the  most recognizable and desired pieces. It has also consistently held it's value better than the hottest model of almost any brand of any watch on the market. (I'd say any watch, but there's got to be some exception right?) 

Here is your chance to own a steel daytona without waiting years in line, or having to buy a bunch of other stuff from an Authorized Dealer.   The Client says the piece has never been worn.  All the packaging is still on the watch.   All photos are of the actual watch that is up for auction.

Client's name is on warranty card, but has been blocked out for his privacy.  Watch was purchased from Shreeve in San Francisco.  Absolutely authentic and original.  We did not take an of the plastic off the watch for these photos.

How do we test Quartz Watches? All quartz accuracy tests are performed by a machine called the Witschi Q Test 6000. The watch is checked inside and out for authenticity. The battery is changed, and the watch is carefully resealed and pressure tested to manufacturer’s specifications. We only sell quartz watches that are performing within one second a day according to the Witschi Q Test 6000.

How do we test Automatic Watches? All automatic Movements are checked with a Witschi Watch Expert II The watch is tested in 5 positions for approximately 4 minutes in each position. The watch maker averages the results of each position to come up with an average, and notates the highest and lowest position result. The following are the results for this specific watch. The watch maker also inspects the inside and outside of each watch for authenticity. At the end of each inspection the watch is carefully resealed and pressure tested to manufacturer’s specifications.

Purchases in the United States

• Sales Tax in California.
• Payment accepted to $,5000 by Paypal to addresses covered by Advanced Seller Protection If we cannot recieve the "OK to ship" message, Using Advanced Seller Protection then all payments must be made via bank wire
• Payments accepted by Bank Wire Transfer for all amounts. Bank Information Provided upon request after a purchase.
• Most Domestic Shipping is performed by UPS. Rates are included the listings.

International Purchases

• Customs Invoice: International orders will be invoiced for customs at the sale price of the item. No exceptions.  While we are sympathetic to your expenses, it is important to us that we comply with all customs laws and we want to be here for the long term.
• Shipping Methods: If an item sells for less than $600,  we usually will use USPS EXPRESS Mail.  Usually this will cost around $45-60 dollars dollars.  While the cost will vary slightly depending on your location, for most parts of the world we charge between $50-70 dollars for insured delivery with Federal Express International. Expensive Items with high insurance buys will cost closer to $100 dollars.  If you are paying with paypal, we reserve the right to not use USPS in a country that does not require a signature.  I.E. Australia.  The reason for this is that if the buyer is not required to have a signature, we are not covered by paypal advanced seller protection if your item is lost during shipment. 
• Paypal & International Transactions:  is accepted as long as paypal stands behind the transaction.  Whether an address is “confirmed” or not, they will usually give us an “OK to Ship” message.  If we do not get this message, we can not ship the item. 
• Low Feedback Buyers: We request that Buyers with less than 5 feedback shoot us an email and let us know that they’ve read and understand the listing rules before bidding.  While we do not wish to burden you with extra procedure, we have had a high percentage of issues with buyers that are new to Ebay.  Your email will tell us that you closely read the listing and we will feel more confident in your bid that there will not be any suprises. 
• Bank Wire: Payment by Bank Wire is accepted on all listings.
• Duty &  Other fees:Buyer is responsible for any VAT, tax, customs, duty, and brokerage fees. These costs are separate from shipping quotes and are paid by the buyer. Please do not ask us to mark an item for a low amount, or to mark as a gift. We will not do this.
• Shipping Time: The watch will promptly ship after we have received payment by paypal, or we have confirmed that we have received the bank funds in the account for a wire transfer.

Shipping

• Most Domestic Shipping is performed by UPS. Rates are included the listings.
•  All international shipments will go Federal Express International. International Shipping will range from around 60 to 100 dollars.     Due to problems with theft and a lack of signature requirements, we are no longer shipping with USPS EXPRESS Mail.

Warranty
All Watches come with a 30 day limited warranty from the date of receipt of watch. The Terms of Which are as follows.... We have chosen 30 days because it is a long enough period to ensure that the watches are working, and short enough that we do not have to raise the costs of our listings. As you can see, We provide a tremendous amount of detail in our listings about how our watches perform. While we do our best to provide an honest good faith assessment of the watches, your results and experiences may vary from the stated accuracy of each watch and minor variations in accuracy will not be covered by this warranty. For example, if our results show that an automatic watch tested on our machine at a + 5 second a day average with the highest position at +10 seconds a day, and you experience that the watch performs at +13 seconds a day this would not be covered under warranty. If however, your results are DRASTICALLY different than our test results, (in the same example you find your watch is gaining +25 seconds a day) we will adjust the watch under this 30 day warranty at no charge. This warranty does not cover bracelets, or crystals, but does cover batteries. The warranty does not cover any damage to the case, strap, or movement caused by moisture that might have entered the watch as a result of improper handling, nor does it apply if there is evidence of misuse or abuse. Be sure the crown is fully screwed down after adjusting for day, date or time to ensure water resistance. This warranty replaces any warranties implied by state law, including the implied warranty of merchantability, which are disclaimed. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages,so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
