Rolex SS Submariner 16800 Collectible w/Oyster Fliplock

This Rolex is a HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE MODEL !! THIS IS THE STAINLESS STEEL SUBMARINER 16800 MODEL---CIRCA 1981! THIS WATCH HAS THE SOUGHT AFTER ORIGINAL MATTE DIAL AND STAINLESS STEEL OYSTER FLIP-LOCK BRACELET!! This watch IS VERY HARD TO FIND AND IS ONE OF THE TRANSITIONAL SUBMARINER MODELS!  The hands and dial are tritium, and appear to be original to the watch. The case is app. 40mm in diameter without the crown.   The dial reads: Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Submariner 1000ft=300m Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified Swiss-T<25. The luminous dots at 1 and 2 have dark spots inside. MN 16800 SN 7,22X,XXX (1981) Synthetic Sapphire Crystal. The watch is running,  was recently cleaned, and is keeping time within app. 6 seconds per day. The movement is the Rolex 27 jewel cal. 3035.  Inside the case back reads: Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland Patented Stainless Steel 16800.  The original oyster flip-lock bracelet is in 75% condition, and the clasp reads: Registered Swiss Made Rolex Steelinox 93150 G. The enpieces are marked: 593 and the last link is marked: 93150. The total length of the watch is 8". There are  small scratches on the case , band, bezel, and insert. The crystal has tiny chips around the outer edges. The piece that attaches the band to the flip lock clasp has been replaced, and is not an original Rolex piece-it is secure but moves from side to side. These vintage Submariners are great watches, and seem to increase in value all the time! This is a great vintage Rolex sport model-don't pass it up! Must see photos!!!
